There was a time when a lot of Hammers used to go and watch Southend on a Friday and then go to Upton Park on the Saturday. This would always piss off the Shrimpers. Who didn't want us there. Which was a bit short sighted, as there are a lot more of us, than there are of them. They also copped the hump when we used to take the ground over, whenever we played them either in the second flight or as a pre season friendly. |

First goal was fucking brilliant.
May have lost me a fiver o nthe first scorer but it was worth it as I was cracking up.
Gutted to have missed the mascot, better you tube it later :o) |

I watched 30 mins of it and that was enough... the mascot was the highlight.... horrible game played by two horrible teams.. if SUFC was the only option I got to watch and follow football I would spoon my own mincers out with a ladle... |

Woops, not nt! I meant to say:
1st goal - Defender tries to clear it off the line, kicks the floor and the ball trickles in, said defender ending up on top of the goalkeeper in a heap.
2nd goal - Ball headed down at the far post through the defenders legs, simple tap in for the striker.
Mascots run around the pitch - Mascot runs full on into the goal stantion. Hilarious!
Terrible game, but so many laughs! |
